There's an episode on savate in the rival show fight quest. personally i think fight quest is much better: the hosts aren't self absorbed eejits for one, and the training seems a lot more real. it's kinda weird seeing savate on tv without gilles, but the trainers are crazy all the same.

unfortunately the demise of stage6.com means that the show isn't available in all it's piratical glory.

Anybody know when this is airing in the UK? I know some episodes (MT, judo, krav maga) have been on the history channel already

Good to see savate get some main stream publicity and some good footage aswell but would have prefered Jason fight than Bill who makes for a messy fight. Looked like asso to me far from combat.

Quite interesting, plenty of history, and some good stuff with GIlles le Duigou that seems fairly familiar. Also some stuff that's less familiar, such as clips of Gilles fight in Japan which he won despite having both his arms broken, and alo the way the yanks pronounce his name. really.
