Here are some excellent reasons for attending this course:

1. As a fighter, the judges' training is invaluable when you compete. Judges determine who wins a fight, so knowing their criteria and being able to adopt their viewpoint is agreeable to your chances of success.

2. Being a qualified judge or referee can win you free board and lodging at international events. I spent several days in Bulgaria judging the 2004 World Champsionships on this merit.

3. In the UK, we would like more judges at our events. Consider it 'giving something back' to the Savate community at whose events you enjoy competing.

4. At this training seminar, unlike most others, no-one is going to kick you in the head with a hard boot.
