The Cobra Gym, headed by former WKA champion Tim Izli, is holding a Kickboxing open day and interclub event on Sunday. There will be some pretty high-level kick and thai fights and, because I teach and train with Tim, two Savate Assaut bouts on the card as well.
Tickets £10 in advance, £15 on door.
If you fancy seeing some fights and supporting the Savate fighters (Gilbert vs Shore and Southwood vs Creighton) feel free to come along.
Any qualified judges would be more then welcome to support the proceedings. We'll have a Savate information stand as well, so if you fancy educating some members of the public plus a few kickboxers into the deal, come along.
