Here are a few photographs featuring the british team (yay!). The bad news is that most of the times, you are in the background since the Canadian team is in the foreground.
It's too bad I forgot my camera in Paris during the competition since I would have taken more photographs with other teams.
Anyways... I'm compensating with a photograph of the full english team from 2005 at the university assaut championship in Lilles. Only Richard is missing, I think. There is also a French spy in the photograph. Try to see if you can spot him !
Edit: I have more shots from the 2006 competition but they will mostly be canadian-focused since my team members were so fond of taking themselves together rather than other teams. I'm myself usually more interesting in meeting the other teams and having some photographs of them but heh... Everyone has their own priorities.
Hence the lack of souvenirs from 2006.
Other edit: I'll add the next photos to this post. I can also post some more from 2005 if you want.
I'll go with James - don't give up the training! Things can be a bit sporadic, and 'quiet regions' in training appear, since training has to fit in with life.
I'm hoping that I'll soon be able to set up a more regular Savate training schedule for myself.
It was good to meet the Canadian team - hope you're all getting on well.
We always seem to get on well with the Canadian team (just ask Tony ) and I agree... the meeting other fighters and coaches is probably one of the best things about the comps.
Forget giving up.... up your training!
All the best mate,
James

I was just posting a little message to say hi to everyone from the British team I saw at the 2006 world assaut championship in Villebon. For those I knew already, it was a pleasure to see you again. For those I met, I was glad to meet you.
It was a very friendly competition and I hope I might see you one day again.
I think I might be done with competitions myself since my training lacks of any regularity and I do not perform that well on a ring. My greatest enjoyment from competitions was meeting boxers from all over the world and the great team of England.
Go UK !
Edit: By the way, would you like some photographs from Canada ?
