glad you enjoyed it, would loved to have gone but far too busy/sleep deprived... just a word though, I had a look at the fight card, and i know that Sophiane Allouache (sp) who won the MAX qualifying tourny is definitely a savateur. i'm not sure if it's his main focus, in fact i'm guessing it's probably not, but he's ranked on the ffs site. and he's a fairly big name in french combat sports, if i remember rightly.
Also one of the guys there representing the UFC, Jess Liaudin, used to train under Fred Rado and has some exposure to savate. Vive la Savate... it's everywhere you know...
No I took the hit on one ticket, but managed to get down there myself last night for most of the fights. In hindsight I'm really glad I went, as the fights were really impressive, and quite brutal.
Killy Guelladrss was the only Savate representative, most of the fighters were Muay Thai and Kickboxing trained.
Got some decent shots too, I'll post them when I get a moment.
Hi, due to a change in plans I can't attend this next weekend, so I am offering my tickets for sale (at cost price).
