In case you are interested, you can nominate a local Cambridgeshire & Peterborough sports personality that you want to reward.

Nominations can be for:

1. Manchetts Sports Personality
An individual who has made great progress and achieved outstanding success in their sport, or made a big difference to a team. Nominees must be 18 or over on 30th September 2007.

2. Advance Performance Unsung Hero
This award is for a volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to local sport.

3. Ridgeons Club of the Year
To reward a local club for their hard work and continued efforts in developing a structure to encourage members of the community into their sport, as well as achieving sporting success in the past 12 months.

4. Lakeside Lodge Golf Centre Young Sports Personality
An individual, under the age of 18 on 30th September 2007, who has made great progress and shows much potential for the future.

5. Archant Young Community Volunteer
An individual, under the age of 18 on 30th September 2007, who has given up a substantial amount of time to volunteer in local sport in any capacity.

6. Coach of the Year
A coach who is committed to providing the highest standard of coaching to their performers and to helping other coaches to develop and who holds a current, recognised coaching qualification.

7. Sports Performer with a disability
A person who has made a significant contribution, impact or improvement in their development as a disabled sports player/athlete.
